    well the japanese pay so much for their anime, I guess they think that we're willing to pay the same prices over here in north america, and we are willing I love newtype!

    Its pretty expensive.... but all the pretty scans in it... u can upload to ur pc, not including dvd's, posters, inserts, etc. In them i think they are worth the $12.
    But... i have never paid $80 to subscibe to anyhting b4 in my life.. i usually jut buy the new types i want... around 5 a year or so.

    where im from the mag costs bout 14-15 dollars an issue.....when it first came out though, it cost only about 10 dollars and had more stuff than it does now

    do you work?

    i would get newtype but unfortunatley i have those goverment fpo address. ill take years for me to recive and issue. buy the time you know it ill have last years issue along with 11 others in a bundle.

    Glossy, color pages
    the latest anime/manga related information
    Manga insert

    over 150 pages
    Acess to a magazine, translated to english, that was released same-month in Japan

    well... paying $12 is pricey when you don't have any money TT__TT

    not to say that it's not worth it... but it is enough to say, "... ouch..."

    however, when i subscribe to a magazine i always say "Bill Me Later", but then i never do so i never get more than 2 copies...

    darn electonics gaming monthly...
