Exactly. And besides, you will still be able to download music from sites that are not in the US jurisdiction. I have to admit that I know nothing of legal policies and such, but if you download say, music from a canadian site (because it is legal here ) I think that they won't be able to do anything because you will have downloaded the music from a legal source. And I don't get it anyway, nowadays the only way to get good qaulity mp3s is to pay for them, so thecnically, we're not robing anybody since we end up paying for the music in the end....Why would they want to stop that I wonder.

What? I couldn't make heads or tails of your post.

Who knows, but the truth of the matter is....they can try and shut down as many p2p sharing programs as they want, but people will just keep making more and more, and even if they were able to stop all of the programs....theres still e-mailing and sending files through AIM. So in a way....it doesnt really matter.

That's what I was trying to say, except I was trying to make it less, erm... blunt.

I would think not because then the us senate would have a bad influence on the teens. Then everyting would go haywire wit the teens and the us senate. The people would be unhappy so i think that they wouldnt totally ban the freedom of downloading stuff. To do so would cause the us too much of a problem
