Thanks, they helped. Just got one question though. About how long would it take for a person to start drawing pretty good?

Depends how hard you practice. I reckon you are a beginner, so I suggest you practice life drawing instead of just anime/manga. Buy art books, none of those how to draw manga books and take art classes/courses if possible.
