Thread: The Draft ahhh!!

The draft is not going to be called, you idiots. See it on the news? No? There you are. The whole "Draft" thing started back during the War on Terror by the Left side of politics to instill fear and discertainty into "The ranks", in which it did.

However, it's a rumor. We can't afford the soldiers we have, let alone drafting a bunch of idiots into the military and trying to train them. Trust me- the draft will never happen again- Vietnam made too many people too scared of war to do it.

I wouldn't say never man. Shit happens, and it can happen to america too. But hey, the claim is definately a kick in the butt.

Are you sure it wasn't just somone making some outragous claim again? It happens all the time and there is no way something like that wouldn't be all over the news.

you do realize such an announcement would be on EVERY news site known to God. Sheesh you probably read some rumour by some small politician ranting. Way to go with being so naive as to buy into all this I mean c'mon.

-sigh- I'm probably wrong, I know. I just had seen it somewhere big, but I guess I was mistaken.

Americans have had to be registered for the draft for a long, long time. I had to register for it as soon as I turned 18. It could be brought back anytime, just so long as they need people. Right now however, Americans are joining the military because they want to and that's the way it should be. The draft isn't being "brought back", it's been in place for generations. It just hasn't had to be used.

In my head I never pictured you as a cheerleader. But thanks anyhow. and this thread should be named " The Draft Haaa! " this is absolute crap. The draft has not nor will be reinstated anytime soon.
