Well, hopefully games released from the Unreal Engine 3.0(Gears of War/Unreal Tournament 2007) will crush any speculations on how xbox 360's graphics aren't that great.

uhm you do of course know that Blu Ray is sony's design and the direct competitor with HD DVD meaning its not going to have both right?

And I can buy a compaq for cheaper than an alienware but doesn't make me want the compaq anymore than the alienware lol

As far as games if you look they actually have almost the exact same games across the board. Which to me sucks. So basically I'll be doing the same as last time. Whereas basically my Playstation will do all my music games and the Xbox will do everything else minus a MGS here or DMC there. Which even then what some dont want to post is where Hideo Kojima said he could easily run what he's developed for MGS4 on an Xbox360 and that it wouldn't matter which he put it on.

As for knocking the launch games try bragging about the PS2 launch games. I still have mine and Tekken Tag Tournament has a habit of making my PS2 want to vomit it shakes so bad. Fact is launch games dont usually have anything great about them. the matter that they are getting 8's and 9's out of these games is a miracle. Almost every launch game released was something rushed to make a date. Wait till actual games come out that weren't rush (which heck PDZ and PGR3 are all the next gen I need if that was as good as they could get I wouldn't complain much but with Gears of War and the like coming whose to tell since they'll be even better)


and btw Microsoft never made money on the xbox so I'm not sure what your smoking.

Dont get me wrong I like sony just fine, but i'm bitter about how they've shafted me on the PSP games and are pretty much arrogant asses with the PS3 so far. Especially if they think I'll ever like that battarang crap controller. I'd rather have a dualshock 3 and in fact expect it.

thats because you haven't seen them on my plasma running in HD not to mention you probably haven't played anything but a kiosk machine. And dont be dreaming that the PS3 will be any different. If your an innovation lover you need to go jump on the Revolution band wagon. Because all the Xbox360 and PS3 will ever be are better looking better running games than what we have now. Its up to the developers to do more and the machines are both equal when you get down to it. So if your banking that its the machine that drives the innovation its time to wake up and smell the napalm console fanboys are throwing. The only one doing console innovation is Nintendo (and I really dont care for nintendo) so again your stuck with waiting to see developers become innovative and when they do its almost always on a game coming out for both systems. So to use that as reasoning is asonine. Basically people will get the system that has the franchises they want that are exlusive. Because madden on a 360 will look just like madden on a PS3, I dont care what anyone says otherwise in that type of regard

But then again we have an unspoken rule about console wars so I guess I'll just get to banning all of us

whats funny is that those guys accuse anyone of being fanboys. Its obvious if they either love Sony or Nintendo to some sick extremes to try and prove a point. Too bad they didn't have something else to spend that 400 bucks on, like a woman

What would've been funnier is if afterwards all the fanboys in line beat the holy hell out of those guys.

I woulda taken it, put it back in the box, and gone inside to claim that I was sold a defective 360.

Microcrap won't let that happen to its new baby, but I will NEVER buy one. The only microsoft product i've ever bought was Windows XP Professional, and well, you know how crappy that is.

I think that having 2 versions of the console is a idiotic idea, barring the really cheap frugal people and stupid parents who don't know the first thing about game consoles, no one will buy the one with out a hard drive, because anyone who owned an original x-box would want to game with out one.
