Thread: Drinking

I've been curious as to others opinions on drinking. In America, I know alcoholism is fairly widespread, but I was wondering about those who exhibit actual responsibility in their drinking habits.

Particularly, I was wondering about those who will occasionally have a drink and, while being over the age of 18, can not drink until the age of 21 by US laws.

I was also intrigued to learn that in most European countries where drinking is legal at a younger age, there's much less of a problem with it. It does make me question the US laws on it. Of course, at the same time I completely understand them, though disagree with them on some levels.

Anyways, thoughts?
