I'm gonna give you the honest answer, and the positioon of forums like this one... You buy it from Adobe... Its expensive, but is the right way to get it, there is other ways to get it but its illegal.

Gimp GIMP is for the broke, poor suckers that need a good Image Program. I love it. I suck at making anything, but when I do get something finished with it it comes out AWESOME. To get gimp you got to download a program that installs it the site is ...........umm i forgot it, its been so long. Just !google it!
