Never said they'll change shape as in most evolution beliefs... but they can gain advanced traits....
However, you can adapt a child into different shapes....... naturally as well...
Some children can grow longer arms and differently shaped hands when raised in an environment that needs lots of climbing... of course, the child needs to climb itself.

Well adabting is when you get used to a specific place, but evolving is when your body makes changes, like example lets say that humans had a third eyebrow, but after some millions of years that third eyebrow disappears becauase this new human specie don't need a third eyebrow no more.
