    Ok.

I have never heard about Howard Dean, does he have good political skills?

It's kinda hard to predict wether or not the democrats have a chance when I don't know who the republican candidate(s) are...

Firstly, this thread had nothing to do with John Kerry, so no need to address the correct point of him being boring. You're stating a known fact.

Secondly, I'm sure black people would be for anything the Democrats do, because the Democrats pander to the minorities. Though interestingly enough, the minority vote for Republicans is slowly increasing, so maybe they're coming around after all.

As for Howard Dean's political skills, there is a reason I called him "YEEEEAAARRRGGGHHH", as that was something he did in a speech after he lost a Democratic primary and basically self-destructed his chance to run for president. I remember seeing it live and it was sort of a weird moment. As a Republican, I can only hope he has the same self-destructive repeat while heading the Democratic Party.
    I don't have a God complex. I am God.

Call me crazy but I actually vote on issues.

I have heard alot of people saying that the Democratic party is slitting their wrists with Dean. He is considered to radical and to far to the left to be able to appeal to their general constituency. Since in his position as chairman of the Democratic National Committee he would be dictating strategy for the entire party it is expected that alot of the more moderate Democrats will be ostricized and left out in the cold. Could be nasty.

I believe that Hilary has a strong chance at winning. If Hilary is chosen, she will get almost all the "activist" group voters who have always wanted a woman president. As far as Dean, some people view him as an "angry, tax-raising, civil union supporting, anti-war candidate" as CNN puts it. But Dean does "plan" to balence the budget of America. *pugh! yea right!* Unfortunately, the budgets so hacked, it would take too much for any one guy to put it strait, and when presidents have differing plans that contradict eachother, everything gets screwed up. Coming back to Hilary, I haven't heard anything about her plans to rejouvonate the economy or do anything about the war. She is mainly a public entity that would only gain progress through fame and the media's eye on her.

So taking this into consideration, two "opposite" choices are presented to the democratic party. That gives them an advantage in the race. So they may win. If you won't like one, you have to like the other. If you don't, go back to your libertarian ways!

Gay republicans are also coming around. Which is also interesting.
