There is already a video console game (Japanese only) and a Manga series (currently running as the NewType USA manga sampler) based on the alternate EVA reality...
does everyone remember that clip from the last episode where it was an alternate universe where Yui was alive Shinji lived with his parents and Misato was his teacher. Did anyone else want to see a short second series where that was the way it was. I would love it cause it could be less serious and more humor.

I really can't wait till that manga hits the shelves, its going to be one of the 3 titles from ADV's manga team that I'm actually going to buy (The other two being Azumanga Diaoh (All 4 volumes), and Full Metal Panic! Up to volume 2 ATM)
They're called Girlfriend of Steel, or Iron Maiden, (Anyone know what ADV manga's calling them?) just to clarify, they also introduce a new female lead character who gives some competition for Shinji's affections, her names Mana.Originally Posted by LenMiyata

the manga based off the alt reality running in NTUSA is called Angelic Days.
