Concidering that the human brain only uses 10% of its capacity, an extra lobe wouldn't be needed.
Ok, you got me curious so I looked it up.
From what I found the concept of an extra lobe comes from fiction (especially Star Trek). Instead telepathy and other such phenominom have been traced to the temporal lobe in the brain where an increased number of paranormal experiences correlate directly to an increased number of "temporal lobe signs"... whatever that means. It was a proffesional source so I could only read the summery.

Anyway, I still don't understand the actual purpose of this thread. We have no extra lobe, won't develop an extra lobe, and if I felt someone telepathically probing me I'd take any means necessary to take them out so it's probably not a desirable ability to have.

thanks for pointing out what i wanted to say.
telling people that the 10% brain capacity myth is just a myth seems to never work as they are too adamant about it. it's possible that they'd rather blame their stupidity on their lack of using the other 90%. kind of a moot point, as everyone else lacks using 90% as well if they choose to believe that.
honestly, there IS no point of discussing the possibilities of having an extra lobe cuz we don't make one, and even worse, the possibilities of having an extra lobe.

can't..can't, we all speak telepathically???.. i don't believe we'll have an extra lobe not to mention extra limbs in the next 3.4billion years or so..
