This a poem I wrote. In order to fit with the forum, I suppose a way to bring about conversation is, what kind of feelings do you get in the fall? School starts, the summer ends. What does the fall mean to you or what does it do to you?

I'm curious to see how this topic is not only taken, but moderated. I'm a bit tired of the list of question threads, but not much I can do.

So lets talk about fall.

Rain.
It's the same.
Cooling my shame.
Lost.
It's a game.
The only one left standing.
It's a shame.
A wet shirt.
Her flowing skirt.
The ideas in my head.
Makes me hurt.
Period.
Dreading senses of being.
Seeing,
The mistakes in my speech,
As I speak.
Blisters on my feet.
Leather shoes of lost souls.
Their faces full of holes.
Memories,
Expecting feelings.
Nothing.
Too in body.
Too in here.
Feeling of away.
Stop cheating,
It can't be yesterday.

I like the fall
not too hot, not too cold
windy
can't stand the heat and the sun during the summer
but in the fall, the wind is nice and soothing

fall is probably my favourite season. it's so pretty bcuz all the leaves r changing colour. and i like how it starts to get cold, but there r still the days u don't really need a jacket.

Interesting how your experience with falls is more directed towards the physical senses.

Then again, the world changes with fall--hurricanes are a good example, leaves fall. I guess I was aiming at something deeper.

Weather wise fall seems warmer the last few years though.

I like the styles and how people cover up more too.

The fall makes me sad. It's when all things start to end. It reminds me that we all die someday. It's just a matter of time. But it also makes me happy. Soon winter will start and it becomes time to stay home and be with family and the ones you love.

Fall is actually my favorite time of the year, i become more reflective, a bit more relaxed....and my horror mood runs rampant. A heck of a beautiful season.

Thanks. Actually, I should have thought of that.

I was worried about your opinion because you mentioned poetry should be kept to journals.

At the same time, I was hoping on probing for other fall poetry.
