I was just wondering what is everyone's favourite period of time in the history of man and why it is.
Personaly my favourite period in time was the race to discover the world in the 1600's or even for music the 1970's as was the peak in my mind of great music surrounding britain.

92% of teens moved to rap. if u are part of the 8% that rock out every day, put this on your sig!!!!
I think wars are interesting but they were ruined by guns and the whole unchivalrousness of them. Tis translates into if one man say has a small handgun and another had an M60 guess who would probably win. Atleast you could have a fair fight when it was melee.Originally Posted by swordfish3

To live in Japan during the middle of the Tokugowa Dynasty to the beginning of the Meiji era, or China right after the unification. (Yeah, watching Rurouni Kenshin got to me)
So I surpose you want to be some sort of warrior in that time period or at least meet one?

The Dark Ages, where man had not known of gunpowder, or cars, or even... the computer. I like the dark ages mostly because I myself have this sence of untouched honor that I feel would flourish in those times because here in these ages theres barely any truth, or honor.
I just feel that my life would be more complete if I were able to wield a sword against my foes and watch them fall at my feet. Or feast in the halls of heroes that past, explore unknown (but now known) lands by horse or foot, or even carrage. To live in an age where everyone worked towards a greater goal, to achieve greatness not just wealth, to help one another expand. I feel that we have lost most of what these times had taught our ancestors.
The Dark Ages are deffinently a time for me.
