It's been about 6 weeks since the "favorites" thread moratorium went into effect. At this point I'm of the opinion that it's time to lift the moratorium and allow the "favorites" threads again. We should, though, do our best to remind the membership over and over to do more than just post lists.
Any thoughts?
That's fine with me. We could also delete any threads that only give a list and doesn't give a reason.

I've been closing them like crazy!!! If we do allow favorite threads again, we should add something to either the FAQ or the Forum rules on what defines a Spam post, and the expected quality of Forum threads and posting...
I would say dont announce "WE're not closing favorites anymore" since thats just inviting it. Just be less restrictive witout saying it
