You leaned in towards the camera,
And I was quick enough to snap a shot.
I got a picture of you,
Stuck on my clipboard.
I put it in paint,
Like you taught me,
And made a picture of you there.
When I got offline,
I put that very picture,
On the background,
Of my computer.
As I leaned back,
I saw your true image,
Come into view.
I looked into your blue eyes,
For the first true time,
Since I have known you.
It was amazing what I saw.
I saw the love that you had for me,
And the look of beauty.
My heart stopped…
It refused to beat,
For what seemed like eternity.
I even leaned in towards the screen to kiss you.
It may just be a picture on my screen,
But I saw what I could have,
Only dreamt of before I knew you.
I saw love there.
I know there is love for you in me,
As I see love for you too in my own eyes,
When I look at my pictures.
I fall in love with you every day.
I fall in love over, and over again.
I can’t stop falling for you.
I realize that I’m kissing the screen,
But I’m not embarrassed…
For a moment…
When I looked into your eyes,
During the kiss…
I… could feel your lips.
The softness of them.
The tender feeling of lips to lips.
