Thread: Festivals around the world

Hello my dear friends ,
What festivals do you all celebrate and which your is your most favorite one? I am really interested to know what festival everyone around the world celebrate, each of them are unique and joyful . Since I am a Hindu, I celebrate mostly Hindu festivals and also the birth of Lord Buddha (since Lord Buddha himself is an incarnation of the Hindu god). I also celebrate Christmas, its one of my favorite . My favorite festivals are Dassera (literally means the ten day sacred festival), Ugadi (the new year, its in the month of March), and deepavali (the festival of light- we fire lots of firecrackers), and Christmas. What is yours ?
