I was wondering how you get files in to a working .png format in photoshop I have an image I'd like to use just still new to photoshop
This is the image I'm trying to get but I'd only like to have the Tarutaru Blue Mage so I can layer it on to a different background
In case anyone is wondering I got the image using AltanaView.

I am not sure I understand what you are saying since it is already in .png format....I think you want the image rendered...meaning that the image is just the character and no background right? Well there are several techniques you could use so I suggest using Google to find a tutorial and then start practicing. As far as this image goes...here I rendered it for you...might not be the best but it should work for you!
The image you posted was kind of choppy so I tried to smooth the edges some.
lol yeah it wasn't the greatest image ^^;
And yes your correct that's what I was trying to ask ^^
