For a MTV influenced series, it wasn't too bad, but not a financial success for Gainex Studios. After 'Neon Genisis Evangelion', the next anime series that Gainex Studios made a profit on (not counting merchandising sales...) was 'Mahoromatic'

It may have not been a money maker but it was still freakin awesome...
I loved the style in which it was made.... if only they'd kept the manga style.... that'd made it better in my opinion.

It's a great little show, i enjoy it but i do wish it was longer than it was. But hey, with animation that nice, humor that sharp and music that badass....there's really not much room to complain. That's how i see it anyway.

i quite liked the fact that it was off the wall and all that, rather than another typical mecha anime or something...yeah, the weirdness might've been a turn off for some people, but that's part of the charm, and helped it distinguish itself from all the other anime out there, sorta like Excel Saga or Puni Puni Poemi...

Oh didn't know their was another FLCL Thread. I just made one. Damn!!!! Oh well, FLCL is really good. It's my favorite one.

Is the rule about posting in threads older than 2 weeks that difficult a concept to grasp?
