    Foreign Films, who digs 'em?

Hello, hola, salut, hallo, yeah cheezy opening but yeah, who out there really likes foreign films? I love them, my favorites are:

Y Tu Mama Tambien (And Your Mother Too); Mexico
    Beijing Bicycle; China
    Amelie; France

If you like them, what are your favorites and what do you like about them?

I dig some of them. I'm glad to see our culture is bringing more and more of them into theaters. In fact a few foreign films have been some of my favorite recent movies such as House of Flying Daggers and Motorcycle Diaries.

Sure do. I love all films from all countries my own included.....but at the moment i've been watching more foreign films, i need them to tide me over till Hollywood gets its act straight again..which could take a while.

i am a big fan myself although i cannot say i am well-seasoned in the area. i own "amelie" and "hero" and most recently seen "the house of flying daggers" which was better than "hero" in my opinion. also i watched "a very long engagement" which is in my top three films of this past year. so brilliantly choreagraphed. i must say, with this movie, considering the time period and subject (war), there is a overall magical feel to it that makes it not so, hmm, let me say.... groteseque or heartbreaking. great film.

i have also seen recently "the trippletes of belleville." odd animation. great story.

    Live by the sword
    Die by the sword
    Stay in the shadows

The almost only foreign film I ever saw...
    Life is Beautiful
    one of my fave movies
A deathless heart alive with greif
Smiles when it hears of thee
    Whisper now my secret love
Kiss my lips and rise above
