A few people seem to be delving into something we had a problem with years back and actually made a rule about. Since it hadn't been a problem I didn't feel we needed the rule. However chock another one up for the masses to blow that for you all. Your now restricted to making no more than 3 new threads in a day. That includes ALL sections. So unlike the old rule you can't do that in each section. they all add up. Its a good bad thing in that its nice we have enough activity bud bad we have to cap you. But since SOME *cough cough* can't seem to restrain from making multitudes of stupid threads we'll be reinstigating this rule. There will be no warnings to offenders. As this is it. If you create more threads than allowed you will be temp banned. Complain about it and it'll become permanent.

most of you aren't seeing it because my mods were literally deleting them as they were made as to not clutter up the forums. But yes it was that bad and then some. But yes MOST dont do it. I mean most people have enough since that they dont make tons of threads in all sections for no reason. Most actually are good about only making one when they think it has a point. So its not really pointed at everyone. However gotta mention it to everyone to be fair

On the condition that the posts are not SPAM, or violate any of the other Forum Rules, ... no. The new rule being discussed here only concerns the creation of new threads.

Starting nonsence threads is what gig is talking about. you can post all over the board you would like to as long as it contributes to the thread.

no actually the rule states 3 total. Just because you make "valid" threads doesn't mean you get to make even more. When you have even just hundreds of members if each one made only a single thread per day you can see how we'd have so many topics we couldn't keep up and they get stale. So you can imagine if everyone made 2 or 3. Hence we have a cap at 3. It doesn't matter if they are good or not. We still need the cap Katsu

Remember guys, that's "creating", max of 3, "new" threads. You can post to more then 3 currently valid threads. Just to make things clear...

These changes have been made to the Forum Rules to cover what should have been OBVIOUS UNSPOKEN FORUM BEHAVIOR, but since we continue to get violations of this nature, (grumble grumble grumble), the staff has decided to spell them out in detail..

- No flooding the forums, This means no posting in topic after topic seconds after the last post. This is called flooding.

Before the hack was added that pretty much fixed double posting I made images to go into the rules. They explained in detail what is acceptable and unacceptable when posting:

This has been added to the signature rules reguarding text. Please be aware and make any neccessary changes:

Use no more than 4 lines of text. A blank line also counts as a line. If it can't be said in 4 lines or less don't bother to put it in your signature. If you have an image in your signature already use no more than 2 lines of text. Max text size allowed in any signature is size 2.
