I love fullmetal alchemist, but it sucks that they killed off hughes!

I guess they had to kill off the comic relief in order to keep the seriousness of the show

lol this anime show is kinda good, the characters, the storyline and background are awesome.

This is the gold of anime. It's these kind of anime that sets a standard for animation. In the future, if people ask me why I watch anime, I'll reffer to FMA....

I wouldn't like a second season though. The end of the story was as it should be, a relative open ending though not a cliff-hanger

Calling FMA the gold of anime is like Me taking a dump on a canvas, having a monkey smear it everywhere and then calling it art.

I recommend you Don't see it as the dub, or sub, suck. Like Inuyasha.

While I'm all for people expressing their opinions for and against anything... it's just nice, and throughfull to others to do it tactfully and senstively. FMA isn't the greatest series on the earth, but it is good and entertaining and a lot of people like it (myself included)
Using that certain analogy to describe it was just uncalled for sorry.

FUNimation did a pretty good job dubbing it
although it took me a while to get used to Al's voice
both in English and Japanese
in the Japanese version, Al sounds like a girl and it's just weird

the music is nice and moody
and FmA was made by BONES and almost everything they make kicks ass (e.g. Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain)

FMA is a great series, I have just finished it. Are there indeed more episodes on their way? If so much glee! However, a movie would also be nice. Roy Mustang is one of the more interesting characters I've seen in anime recently.

the Fullmetal Alchemist movie is going to released to the states soon
don't know the exact date, but expect it maybe.... winter? or next spring?

as for sequels...
there's a third FmA video game that came out in Japan a couple months ago
no talk as for a sequel for the anime
hope they don't
don't want FmA to turn into another Dragon Ball
