The more I hear the less and less impressed I am with the people who live in N.O.
you sure sound upset about the strippers, but I mean as immoral as they are they are just trying to survive I guess...or maybe they are just Red Cross Volunteers to ease the pressure off the engineers rebuilding the levy or whateverOriginally Posted by Arrianna

No, I just find it significant that the first entertainment availible is immoral. Not to mention breaking curfew. I guess the law doesn't mean anything to them.

other darker forms of work are usually the first to get back on their feet.
Just about all entertainment available in New Orleans is immoral. Gambling, 24-hour bars, strippers, and the debauchery of Mardi Gras- It's what makes New Orleans the city that it is.Originally Posted by Arrianna

And they were surprised that they had roving gangs looting, raping, and shooting people. I'm not if the law is mearly considered an inconvenience there to be put aside along with their morals whenever there is a profit to be made.
Two weeks ago this same bussiness owner was throwing a fit because the curfew was cutting down on the immorality of his customers and his profit from it. Evidently his best bussiness is done after midnight. I guess he decided that would just ignore the curfew and make his profit anyway.
If this is getting back to normal I am very much not impressed.
