Thread: Ghost in the shell

if you can handle people talking about conspiracies, using big words, and talking in an almost emotionless expression
then you will probably like the GITS series

it's kinda like the X-files with all these private discussions among main characters except there's a ton more violence

and once you really get into the whole "Laughing Man" thing
you'll probably get hooked into the series waiting to find out what the hell the "Laughing Man" is and what's he gonna do
he's probably the coolest character in Stand Alone Complex

please try to cope with the Tachikomas (sp?)
they're kinda annoying

anyway...
Ghost in the Shell = action-scifi-mystery-thriller that either makes you think or bores you to death
depends all on your attention span

Dude seriously anything to do with Masamune Shirow is worth watching.

Ghost in the shell i rate as my favourite old school anime, it is philosophical and has great scense in the anime. Also the way it was directed by Mamoru Oshii & Masamune Shirow was very unique also, rather then show how the characters impact on the story they show the environement around them influences the characters and there roles. Those idiots that made the matrix stole allot from ghost in the shell.


Ghost in the Shell the stand alone complexe is great with 29 episodes of great storyline and nice action scenes and great idea's and Major Tasunagi ( i hope thats the spelling ) is too cool.

and as for Ghost in the shell 2 innocence This was something that every hardcore anime fan has been waiting for many years and it was great and artistic here is a qoute "this is one of the absolute best films you'll see this year! - harry knowles, aint it cool news"

trust me Masamune shirow and Mamoru Oshi are amazing, i mean look at Akira, ghost in the shell and Applseed.

AWSOME!!!! This is one of my top 5!!! It's a great show. U should really watch it.

very interesting show, I love it, at first I didn't understand it, cause I started watching halfway in the serires, but now I can understand wat the hell was goin on

yea at first I didn't understand it either, but catched on really fast (unlike FLCL. grrrr..)

its wierd but unique!! defiantly worth your time!!
