    "Glow" Effect

    I've seen many people's work and I've often seen glowing beams, etc. I've always wondered how they did it, so if somebody could help me. Kind of like this:

    umm that sparkle?
    That's a brush.. look in ur assorted brushes.. or the other packs of brushes and choose whit as ur main color.

    Wrong. It's used with the pen tool.

    Shit, I used to do that alot when i first started PS, But i don't do it anymore and i forgot

    There was this one tutorial on it. I'll find it for you.

    Yah, i believe my friend mentioned using the pen tool, but i never followed what we was telling me to do after. If you ever find the tutorial, it would be most appreciated.

    hmm... I'm not sure about that effect, but you can put a similar glow on something by going Layer -> Layer Style -> Outer Glow and play around with the settings.
