Of all the series I've read, I didn't really like Gravitation all that much. The artwork was pretty shoddy, even though it did have a pretty original story to it. Definitely not one of my favs.

Ask any of my yaoi/shonen ai-obsessed friends about it and they'll squeal and giggle to a point where it becomes annoying. I'm sure it's good, but it's a tad bit overrated.

Not really my favourite, but I enjoy reading it. Haven't seen the anime yet, I don't know how to ask my brother to download it for me. Go go shounen-ai! ^^
Just one thing: why do eveyone look so much like girls in Gravitation2 manga?

XD I love Gravitation. I have all the dvds and the ova and am now collecting the manga =D The ova has a lot more action and kinkyness sorta ^^;;;

I must definitely agree there, and I'm a fan of the series.
But the artwork in the manga gets much better as the series goes on. The first three volumes are pretty bad, but the mangaka really gets much better and more regular around voulme 4, 5 and especially when Shuichi gets his 'makeover' in volume 6.

I agree it is slightly over-rated too, it basically is the first series that comes to mind whenever you ask the common Western Shounen-ai/Yaoi fan to name their favourite titles. Since it is what introduced alot of the fangirls to the genre.
For me, it was the fourth title I read with Shounen-ai elements (Tokyo Bablyon, Yami no Matsuei and X being first) and the first exclusively Yaoi manga I read. I like it alot, but it's not my favourite.
I like my Shounen-ai to be much more dark and angsty. ^_^
