-Greatest "Classical Music" of All Time?!-

    http://www.digitaldreamdoor.com/page...ssic-comp.html

Yo people! I came across this web site some months ago during my exploits. It is a site that asserts to have determined the greatest Composers, Symphonies, Sonatas, Operas, Orchestras, ect... of all time. Now, I personally agree with some of their rankings but strongly disagree on other's. Check the link and tell us if you agree or not and why.

*Check the bottom for their full ranking on all genres of "Classical Music"

Experience without theory is blind, but theory without experience is mere intellectual play -- Kant

It was only a matter of time

The list looks pretty good although I don't know nearly all of them...
    Strauss stands a little low,
Verdi at n°1 on the operas list...
Beethoven wins most, and he should imo.

    Bach deserved his placement.

Yeah you people are pretty much on target. I'm surprised, I thought everyone would challenge it. Hey, it's cool either way. I also agree with you "Blood-Man" ^_^, Beethoven at the top!

C'mon tell me the ones you didn't agree with.

Dang, Bach is good, really the master of organ music.

Well, I suppose the list isn't at fault, I actually applauded the effort, but it's too subjective. If you read the bottom, you see everyone disagreeing with each other. It's not like debating the greatest NFL QB of all time.

I generally disagreed with the Opera, Orchestra, and "Famous" Music categories, but, it's all pedantic either way...!

What would your Opera top 3/top 5 look like?
