Shade/K' Heart

I lay on the ground,
and make a butterfly's perch.
it sits on my brow,
and comforts me there.
the wind blows,
in the forest i am.
this world doesn't care,
but this butterfly.
"are you my friend?"
i ask the winged beauty.
it flutters to my chest,
bare and scarred.
another one comes,
and lands by my face.
i see it,
as i lie to the side.
a third lands,
on the upside of me.
it lands by my ear,
and the wind blows again.
"i am here for you..."
i can almost hear them say.
i begin to cry,
and continue being still.
more butterflies come,
covering the light of the sun.
they all come around me,
and comfort me today.
they surround me,
and all lay still.
i wont be a grave today,
but a bed for them.
my tear hits the one,
and it moves not.
these butterflies care,
when other do not.
just before i begin to move,
when the wind blows again.
"i love you..."
is what i hear.
it is my love,
sending guardian butterflies,
to dry me,
of my tears......
