Gundam Vs. DBZ

I'm a DBZ fan and a friend of mine is a Gundam fan and he says it is alot better.
I think Gundam great but, I'm still a to the limit DBZ fan.
So, I was wondering what others thought.

Well i like Gundam better then DBZ im not a big fan of DBZ though..

ummm.....these two anime are not really related in any way but that they both are old and staples of anime development, you may find a better discussion of (Gundam vs Macross, which did more for the genre and which was beter) or (RahXephon vs Neon Genesis Evangelion, which is better) and for (which was better DB, DBZ, or DBGT?)

Predictable, gaint-fighting robots with over-used plots or repeated plots with drawn out climaxes that make worth missing 5 episodes while character developement is 0.

Hmm,

I'll pass at both. DBZ is neat at first but grows old quickly. Gundam is over-dramatic and the ideas have been used before. I liked the animation though--hated the dubs.

They're different worlds so you can't say one is better etc really. It's a matter of preference.

That is a good point and I think DB was good but, DBZ was the best.
