Thread: Gunslinger Girls

Cool anime! ^.^

Ahem, brainwashed girls who do not have any relatives nor any place to be, are being prepared as professional assassins and given mechanical bodies by a so called non-profit welfare organization. They have lost every consciences and do not hesitate to kill at all. They spend their lives smeared with smoke, covered in gunpowder and blood.After they were being brainwashed, they can kill with an innocent face and without hesitation at all. They don't think through their deeds and don't feel any pity. they destroy themselves and refuse to grow.

But of course i think you knew all that..
Sad thing, i haven't finish watching all the shows,only epi 1-6...*cries*

With all the blood, and violence, and cute little girls with full automatic weapons, 'Gunslinger Girls' is not a typical Girls with Guns series... Instead, it's a 'Slice of Life' series that mainly deals with how the girls emotionally cope with their situation...

It's a good series nonetheless. There was no real ending to the series, and from what I know, there isn't going to be a continuation. Wasn't this series all made for the PS2 game?

We are in the wrong part of the forum to talk about the ending I think, but nevertheless it was a good series to only run 1 season. Eriadd I don't think it was made just for the PS2 video game (though I believe there are/is going to be 4 volumes for the video game world). I think it was just a way to expose as much of the series as possible. Some people read the manga, some saw the anime and some played the game(s). Or some may do a combo or all of them!

Any way you look at it, though, Gunslinger Girl is a good series.

What if Italy were really doing things like that to their citizens? That would be awesome.

Yeah but at the same time I will never look at little girls the same way....hehehe....you may want to re-think punching little girls in italy, lol.

Gunslinger Girls is a real cool anime but in the midle of the series starta to get wacko.
