Well, it looks good but the sound effects seem to be a bit off
it sounds like looney toons or something, and although the bg music is nice and relaxing, the fighting scenes just completly ruined the mood

You're correct about it being a continuation of the .hack// games before it, though it is after the manga/anime by at least 2 years. If you read the information on the site though the 8 characters they mention, The Terror of Death: Haseo, The Mirage of Deceit: Atoli, The Propagation: Kuhn, The Prophet: Yata, The Machinator: Sakubo, The Temptress: Endrance, The Avenger: Pai, and The Rebirth: Ovan have the same names as the 8 phases of Morgona (if I spelt it wrong don't blame me, I've only played the first game but I know about what goes on in all 4). From what I hear these 8 are supposed to be those 8 reincarnated I guess, not really sure but there is a fact that what ever that thing that looked like Kite was it's evil. People are wondering if it's the real Kite or not, I don't think it's him though (also note that there's a rumor that his character was never deleted and the infection made this Kite too, don't believe that one either). I want to know everyone's thoughts on any theory's they might have, if I can I want to know what this game is at least based on as soon as possible, you know?
