    Happy Face [P]

    Happy Face


    Daylight breaks in;

    My mind awakes.

    Time to put on my happy face.

    An inner voice fights, struggles.

    Tears bleed in my heart.

    Why must things go this way?

    Loneliness is something you must overcome.

    The happy face greets people and smiles,

    But never to herself.

    The happy face laughs and jokes in class,

    But never know the true meaning of happiness.

    The happy face...

    Remains...

    Notes: This is a poem I wrote like a few days back because my mom's returning to her home country soon and leaving me alone in Perth again. It's like... a fear of being alone, and pretending to enjoy yourself... I don't know. I think this is rather bad. :S
