Hahaha WTF!! does religion have to do with the movie, it is only a movie that is suppose to have some magic spells, monters and all sort of satanist stuff. Why there is always a sicko person out there that says stuff without having a good reason to say it. Hail satan.........

Re: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

There are things in the series that reference to religion but that is if one properly analyzed it. I think that analyzing the series and calling it the devil's work is quite harsh though. JK herslef stated that she did not intend for any Christian idiology to be in her stuff. She is a Christian after all and she can't help it if someone happens to see some biblical allusions. As long as the person reads it for the sake of reading and entertainment there is no sin within it unlesss one were to use it as a source for actual dark witchcraft. I pity those poor soles who are fooled with JK's usage of ironic vision... I wonder if that person has actually gave the books a chance or even the movies. (This message has been brought to readers by a Catholic who has had a debate on this with other Catholics and Christians)

Some old bat decided to write in to our college paper about how Harry Potter is the devil and stuff.

-sigh- Sometimes I regret living in Utah.
Just be glad you don't live in the Bible Belt (as witnessed by the Halloween thread) or Vernon BC. Honestly, there are worse places to live... and unfortunately I've been in a few.

I was lucky enough to see an advance screening of GoF last weekend, and without giving anything away, let me just say that it was AWESOME. I'm going to see it again tomorrow night, it's my pick for the best HP movie so far.
