If she says that he wont do it if she doesn't want to then she should be ok, but if he keeps bringing it up and that's all what he's worried about she might need to reconsider.

But if he really does love her then he should be able to wait until she's ready instead of always asking or doing whatever he's doing. He shouldn't push her like that. I know how it feels and it's not the nicest feeling.
