    Hi! I'm a newbie when it comes to anime ...

    Hey, I'm Snoopy and I've always looked at manga and just recently started anime. Right now I'm really into watching Outlaw Star (was visiting my sis and her fiance [sp?] has the series). I'm actually going to buy my copy of the series tomorrow. Thing is that I can't just watch that one series and I was wondering if ya'll have a few more suggestions.

    Things I usually like are action, good story lines and character development (this above all things), and artwork is always good.

    Some other things I have watched/read and liked have been:

    Princess Mononoke
    Chobits
    Magick Knight: Rayearth
    Alice 19th
    Tenchi Muyo
    Rurouni Kenshin


    I'd prefer sci fi genre ... I don't know why, but I seem to get into those stories more even though the above is mostly fantasy or some sort of historic factor. Outlaw Star is my favorite out of all the above listed.

    I hope to get to know lots of ya'll here!

    Thanks everyone for welcoming me. Sorry about posting on the wrong fourm. I didn't think this was going to be my actual introduction, I was just getting ahead of myself and jumped into wanting to see what other types of Anime/Manga was out there.

    I can't believe that no one has suggested Cowboy Bebop, its a lot like Outlaw Star. Outlaw Star was just good, while Cowboy Bebop is one of the best. You wont find many that disagree with me.
