How do you build your web pages?

I know many of you folks have your own web pages. So how do you go about building them?

    What programs do you use?

What features do you like to include?

Personally I write all the HTML for my sites using a simple text editor called EditPadLite. I'm completely anal about the code I include so I prefer to do all the coding myself. If I want to add a fun script, I usually find a good php script at hotscripts.com.

yeah, dreamweaver will really solve a lot of your problems. as for being a hardcore html coder, one thing you have to keep in mind is that being stubborn on doing a certain thing a certain way (as in writing every single line of html) is a extremely bad way of doing things in this world.

I don't have any problems with my code. I prefer writing the code myself because I can organize it so as to make the debug easier. Also I have an easier time learning what the code does if I had to input it myself.

As for Dreamweaver, many folks use it, but I'm not interested in purchasing it. Since I'm not a professional developer I can't justify purchasing the software. I know that a lot of people swear by Dreamweaver, but I can't justify its purchase when I have better things to spend my money on.
