Re: How do you solve conflicts with others?
usually with guys about my age, i resolve with my fists because it's effective and they learn their lesson. with girls i try to sweet-talk, and with older people i just barely talk about my problems....younger kids aren't smart enough to know about my life :lurk:
Re: How do you solve conflicts with others?
Well it really depends on the situation, is the conflict heated, if it is, then I try cooling words, and if that doesn't seem to work then its a boot to the head if they swing.
Now, if its a peaceful conflict, then sweet, understanding words are what come about. I tend to stay a pacifist, unless provoked. I hate fighting, I hate anger.
Re: How do you solve conflicts with others?
i dont argue at all, I donthave time to waste on that. if it boils down to a fist fight it might happen but generally people will be shouting and i'm still calm try to deal with a situation as objectivly as possible anger breeds confusion so its not needed to reslove a conflict
Re: How do you solve conflicts with others?
Me? I would just avoid the situation unless it turns really bad and they want to fight you.......then I guess I'd have to protect myself......

Nice question, dude:thumb:.
When it comes to me: if someone is bothering me, I never tend to mind their words. If someone calls me names or uses bad words...I ask them first to stop it. If they continue, I never walk away or anything...I just continue doing the things that I am doing at that moment. If it is all about me (just on me)...I don't mind or care that much. I always maintain a whole bunch of composure in my heart. I am not an irascible dude.
When it comes to my family or friends: Now, it is a whole different league. If I hear a single bad word used against my family or friends, I don't ask them to stop what there are doing. Instead, I will see to it that they apologize at once, on the sight, no exceptions. If they continue doing that, then I take the form of a keshi---a demon. No kidding, but not brutal, of course. Now, there is some room for action and badass butt-kicking moves, only intended for dudes (I never harm a child, a lady, or an elder---Seven Code Of Manu). I only gotten into five fights so far in my life...never intend to have more. I encountered one incident recently...regarding with my little sister. Now, the dust is clear and the matter is settled.
Most of the people in my town know me for a reason, so, no pervert or a dude get involved with my family or friends or even me. I respect martial arts, and never utilize it to harm an individual, unless required.
Other routes that I take: I usually take to my parents...regarding things like these first. My grandfather is also very prudent at giving right advices. The other person from whom I seek an advice on these matters is, my master himself. He a very intelligent and wise man, who I venerate, always. I also talk to my friends...and here their opinions. The last person to whom I also ask, is my master's granddaughter...a special someone, who loves and cares for me, forever, just like my family and friends.
That is about it, dude.

Re: How do you solve conflicts with others?
If compromising doesn't solve conflicts you have to fight, that's the only way to solve them.....
