Thread: how to make sigs

First of all, do you have a Photoshop or GIMP graphics program installed into your computer, Karinka?

Well this is real loose and I assume Photoshop is being used
1) Create a new layer with dimensions of say 500x115 transparent BG
2) Fill layer with a base color or gradient
3) Create a new layer and insert a render (cut out of a character)
4) Add new layer(s) (as many as you would like) and use brushes to create a desired BG
5) Order layers to obtain desired look.
6) Save as a .jpeg, .gif or .png

I think I have photoshop. I'll have to check.



EDIT: the closest thing I have to Photoshop is Adobe Photoshop.

Trying for your own sigs too huh!? You might as well get GIMP while you're at it since its free. There's a link in one of the threads here.

Photoshop is as good as a program and its simple to use but GIMP is pretty good too...thats what I'm using so. I dont think that I can give you as much advise as some ppl here but let me know if you need help fellow sig making begginer!!
