How's Moving Castle Trailers

Howl's Moving Castle is the latest Miyazaki film to be released in Japan, and has been dominating the movie theaters over there. The US release of this movie is scheduled for the middle of June of this year, and the website Ain't it Cool News has posted the American trailers for this movie...

It looks sick. I waited through the 30 minute wait (f*ck you 56.k!) and it was al lworth it, it looks to be a moving film. That castle sure does look trippy

It looks like Disney has finally put up their official Flash site for How's Moving Castle this weekend... (Not much of one, but it's up...)

To select theaters... does this mean we finally get to watch Miyazaki on the big screen? And are they going to release the DVD at the same time or wait a few months?

A Report on Anime News Network stated that the initial theatrical launch of Howl's Moving Caste will be in the neighborhood of 700 to 800 theaters according to the Japanese Press...

Which is much larger then the initial release of Spirited Away. Also Nausicaa is having a much smaller limited release this summer, but only minimal details are available...

There is ZERO information on a DVD release for Howl's Moving Castle, but remember, it didn't take that long for 'Spirited Away' to have a DVD release. Also, details on the Fall/Christmas release of Studio Ghibli DVDs by Disney have yet to be released, but is rumored to include 'My Neighbor Totoro', and possibly 'Whispers from the Heart'...

Love Miyazaki. Cannot wait for Howl's. I am going to be living in New York come June so I am sure I will get to see it if it is a limited release.

I watched Nausicaa last night...again. So good. Oh, and I watched, for the first time, The Castle of Cagliostro. Also very good.

It's "Howl's Moving Castle"
by Diana Wynne Jones

She's a British author that writes the best fantesy I have read in a long time!

Her listing of books on Amazon are to many to mention.
And of course she has her own website: The Many Worlds of Diana Wynne Jones

Now of course the next question is, why is Miyazaki useing English stories? Mind you if he was going to pick just one......
