Thread: HTML: should it return to AO?

First of all this belongs in forum feedback.

Second of all, we cannot "bring HTML back" because we've never used it.

I'll leave this up to hear others' opinions, but in all honesty we've yet to run into any inconveniences due to our use of bbcode.

Bring it back? You mean do the whole site that way? Why would they implement a limited standard that really is only used as a skeleton for most sites if that. When php is just fine not to mention far superior for forum design. I mean if you really want it and want others to buy into it then you need to provide more than "I can help but only with HTML" to sway their minds.

And another thing, please never type in that font size again.

Yeah, vbforums run off of vbcode. And php i think.

Though, should you need to use it for whatever reason, press the "<>" button in the post to use some html codes.

naw, HTML used be on, but it was glitchy so they took it off. saw it myself. and i can help with anything, but i just use HTML the most, so yeah. if you do need help with other stuff, just ask. hackers arent all that bad ;D

and no, not he whole site. personally, just the profile setup and messages. keep everything else, but let HTML be an option

Gosh.. frr_Vegeta, lol.. another nooby who likes to Change AO .. please stop complaning about stuff that aint nessecary.. I mean like.. HTML is not an option, it's fine as it is here.. It's a perfect forum, and everything on the site works good. So why change stuff, while nobody is complaning exept YOU, who has been here for what.. 2 weeks? And dude, if you like HTML and XML that much, go build your own website, have fun doing that.. AO staff don't need to change it here, and I'm sure... as long as nobody exept you want to change it to HTML, they won't do it. And i'm not here to you or something.. cuz it's nice of you to offer your help in HTML.. but aah well, AO staff will decide what to do with this thread and your actions
