This past week the president of venezuela, hugo chavez said that USA (Bush as well) might invade venezuela for petrolium, he also said that if USA for some reason invaded venezuela he will make the oil price to go up like hell. President bush rejected those acusations by saying that those acusations were retarded and that USA would never invade venezuela for oil. so what do you guys think about this.

This doesn't sound like much of a debate, more of "hey this happend, how do you feel?"

Also, while Bush can be a moron at times, I doubt he said anything was "retarded" where is your source?

But no, I don't believe Bush said he was retarded. In fact I don't believe Bush has personally commented, just government and White House press releases.
Facts:
Chavez is a close personal friend of Castro.
There was a failed coupe against him a few years ago.
Chavez blames the US for the coupe even though there is no evidence.
The US has recently blocked sells of weapons and military upgrades to Venezuela by other countries.
Venezuela is attempting to work with Iran to create a nuclear power base even though they don't have any clear plans on why they want one.
The US is already Venezuelas main client for purchasing oil.
Chavez is using his claims of invasion as a reason to expand his military size and presence throughout the country.
President Chavez makes frequent outragous statements about the US.
My Opinion?
The guy is nutters... or very dangerous.
