gimp? Sounds a little generic. Try flash. Make sure u make it at 500 by 100. Btw 50 posts is not a lot. and dont go making pointless messages like hmm or wow cool. THats called spamming and if u do youll be sure to be banned in no time. Just a little heads up. Make sure your posts have meanings to them not just pointless messages. Youll be up there in no time.

Gimp is completely free and you can make some really good stuff with it, once you get to know the program

Photoshop is an excellent program, but it comes with a price.
<GIMP> is completely free to download. Photoshop may offer more functions etc. Not to say Gimp isn't a nifty tool on its own.
However if you feel making your own signature is too much of a hassle. You can simply just acquire a 50post count and request a signature.

If you find a picture you like just go to your user cp and insert the url, but if the file is too large you will have to resize it! Once you do this click the link that says insert signature and congratulations your done. Hope this helps!
