I noticed a Trend of this...

I noticed a trend in which certain moderators appear to be 'waiting' for inactive threads.
Case in point,
A user posts in an inactive thread. The moderator THEN intervenes, saying "DON'T POST IN FORUMS THAT HAVE BEEN INACTIVE FOR OVER 2 WEEKS, it's in the AO.NET Rules."


...I may be misunderstanding ~ I am not pointing fingers of blame!

I just wonder why aren't forums that are inactive for longer than 2 weeks closed by mods automatically? Searches should be routinely performed by mods for inactive threads...

To me it seemed like they were waiting for users to target the dead threads for them...

DON'T GET ME WRONG! You guys do EVERYTHING for the community! I especially appreciate Lord Katsuhito's work ^^;; (I've looked into some of the stuff you've done) This has been bothering me for a while, and I haven't found the means to say it.

cause they luv banding people there very vicous but sometimes they keep track on how long its been up and tries ficxing it to where know one else gets banned

the people that post in inactive threads are mostly newbies that don't no better
it's very common for newbies to check out the dead threads
not exactly a trend...

I still think the most possible reasoning is that they may have to shut down the site for a short while to delete the threads, as new ones being created while they're deleting could be a hassle. Also, there's already a thread relatively linked to this one, maybe you should check it out.

I've noticed a trend of complaining n00bs.

The thread thing has been that way for a pretty long time.

your wrong in the banning part Kagome. The reason we close topics after 2 weeks afget someone posts is because its in the rules its not our fault people can't read the rules on this board..

So in conclution if you don't read the rules its not our fault

and Kagaome you don't know how we run this site so keep your mouth shut
