Thread: If you put a video game in your cd player....

well i don't think all video games have that option, i once tried mortal combat and the song were awesome, i might try some other different games like GTA vice city, Gundam Zeta Gundam vs Ferderation Gundmas etc.

Does this acuratally work? It would be cool if it did work. Maybe I'll try one of my games.

my sentiments exactly. is it even safe...? would it screw your game up....i'd refuse to try iy unless i get some decent proof!!

game companies often place soundtracks uncompressed onto the game disc. it's nothing new. i even knew about this back when warcraft 2 came out [which is way over 10 years ago]. will it be playable with all games, that is not guaranteed, but it has worked with several.

and no, it will not damage the disc. why would it damage the disc? cd players don't shoot nails when they read cd's people.

Hmm, I doubt i'd work with the 'cubes little discs however. That sucks. They're the only ones besides FF with decent game music.

Sled Storm for PS1 does that intentionally...altho they sound horrid when you transfer them onto itunes.

They aren't supposed to do that? Mine must be defective...
But seriously, yes, it is a nice little addition to some games...I thought everyone knew about it..it's nice if you just want to listen to the music of a certain game, provided it will play.
