    yeah, this issue is kinda dumb and can be fixed with adjusting the volume, but i also think ppl are complaining 'cause the kinda headphones that the ipod includes goes into ur ears, rather than the ones that don't are more likely to damage ur ears....

    well...i don't think your hearing will worsen by listening to ipods, as long as you don't turn the volume up too high. when your ear starts to deafen whilst listening to your ipod, then you'll know that it's too loud and you're damaging your hearing.
