Not really, if you're good at the tech that could be supported. It doesn't seem that bad because you're helping out the fellow gamers.
This is not a debate, as a matter of fact this isn't even worth a journal entry. If you want to know policies regarding your affiliation with AL, talk with the administration. However, had you not posted this they probably would never have known.
