WISHING

Loving you
Wanting you
To be with me
To hold me
To touch me
Wanting to see your face
Wanting to hear your voice
With my own my eyes
With these ears
Not from a picture
Or speakers that mimick your voice
I want to hear you
And hold you
Close and tight
Bringing happiness to your world of lies
And helping find love in mine
That i can hold and feel not like before
Where there was no tangible love
I want to go forward into the future
And with all my senses
Feel that my love is returned
I don't know if i want to wait
I don't know if i can wait
I just need you to hold
Close and tight
Fighting away these thoughts
Of unrest and destruction
Of suicide and mutilation
Wanting you
Needing you
To be here
Holding me

A speacial word for you and me A special bond one cannot see It wraps us up in its cocoon And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold Gently nestling us to the fold Like silken thread it holds us fast Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread might break A new one forms in its wake To bind us closer and keeo us strong In a speacial world, where we belong.

Hmmm, I know I am not the author of this thread, but I just want to throw in a poem of mine that was added to the AmericanPoetry Book just recently. This is was a random poem that I did, and heh, I just posted it on their site, and I recieved a letter saying that my poem has been chosen to be put into their top selling book, so haha I was really excited although I didnt think it was that great of a poem. This poem is dedicated to a very special someone in my life, who's made a lot of differences and sacrifices just to be with me.

Who Am I?

So here I am...
Lying next to you...
A dream that has come true...
And still I wonder...
Who am I to be lying next to you?

So here I am...
In your arms; knowing that i will never be in any harm...
You whispering in my ears...”Never to fear because you will always be there”
But then here I am...lying...
Wondering who am I to be lying next to you?

So here I am...
As I gaze into your eyes...
Honey, this is what I realize...
I am a reflection of you...
I am your sun, your moon, your love, your soul, your pride.
I am what gives you that extra strive to never give up...
I am that guiding light that helps you when your world is full of darkness.
I am those arms that will hold you in happiness and in sorrow.

But then I really wonder...
What is it that makes you love me so?

Maybe simply because I am myself.


This is just another random poem that I wrote on my spare time.

I will find you...
If you were crying...
I would comfort you...
If you were mad...
I would be sad...
If you were confused...
I will try to find explanations...
If you're talking...
I will listen...
If you laugh...
I will laugh with you...

If someone tries to take you out of my life...
They would have to go through a fight.

If you were the sun...
Let me be the rays that shines from it.
If you were the clouds...
Let me be the rain and shower the earth with our love.
If you were the bee...
Let me be the flower that you live upon.
If you were the bark of a tree...
Let me be the leaves that grow on it...

And you could let me be all that...

Just as if the world was covered in ice...
There wouldn’t be any life...
Just how if you were gone...
My world would be wrong.

nice i like them May repetitive and similiar in scheme but that's what makes it good(wish i could write like that )any ways great job on your achievements

Fantasy/Reality

Lost in this transition of worlds
One i act fine
Only if i give up all thought
Give up every feeling making me feel nothing
Two i'm not okay remembering the happiness
My past
My memories
My thoughts are wearing me down
1. I smoke 2. I smoke 3. I smoke more
Till i feel as if he's by my side
I stop crying and think more
Letting reality set in
My one and only love has left me
And I'm a wreck
Not wanting to
Talk
Got to school
Hang with friends
Even to function anymore
Only to crawl up in a ball and die
In my weak and fetile position
Only to lay in bed all day
Sleeping my life away
Only to cry till I fall asleep
Thinking of my love
Waking only to the sight and sounds of nightfall
My memories are the only things i have of him
My feelings are the cause of all of this
These thoughts of a bullet through my head
Of a knife slashing my throat
Of living in darkness the rest of my life
I hate both worlds
Of acting and reality
I just wish them away
I just wish you were by my side again
I just wish i was as high as a kite
Laughing with these troubles
But i'm falling down and down
Without you or anyone to grab my hand
Saving me
Pain my only release now
I'm past crying
Through with it
My pathetic crying won't get you back
You'll never know about it
But my burn and slash marks will help me for now
It'll have to suffice
I will never get over you
I know that now
I will always be in love
With you
No matter what you do or say
My heart will be dedicated to you
Even if it beats no longer
