Suicide is something I'm used to.A kid at my school jumped off the second floor.(and suicide is a normal topic of my dreams)
I ave seen the world from both sides, but I still wonder if it really exists.

You should stop talking about your dreams, and start making them.

There is something so human in the desire to never give up, while at the same time, never giving it your all?
Admitedly i've been down that road... 3 times if memory serves correctly... i've overcome it for my own reasons... i get made fun of a lot, not the best grades, illusions of not reaching my dreams and goals (i know i can if i just try hard enough and i am trying harder now than ever)... it all added up... but i'm still here, and i intend to stay quite a while... but since i survived that urge i have a higher understanding of why people do... but i'll leave that for a private discussion with someone if anyone wants to talk to me about it. Otherwise, thats all i really wanted to say.
if i lived there id probably do the same..lol....so many ppl!! but i might like it

i dont know, isnt there a better way out? I bet everyones heard this before, but suicides never the answer, right?
lets get some feedback![]()
are we redirecting this as a general suicide thread? ( i could have sworn there was a similar thread in debates forum...can't seem to find it ) and as a warning this isn't directed at any one, it's just my rambling.Originally Posted by animekid63
well....sure, to most people, there IS a better way out. But when you're in that state of mind, to even begin to consider suicide...you just don't SEE that better way out anymore. It's easy to say, oh suicide is dumb...those people are just too weak to handle life. But to actually carry out killing yourself isn't as easy as baking a cake either.
It's F-ed up to think that someone's weak and you shouldn't even bother with them if they decide to kill themselves. Sure, they may be selfish and weak to some extent...but that DOESN'T mean they're worthless and not worth the time anymore (ie: let them die if they want to). Suicide is usally a cry for help. a very extreme one at that.
Try and think up of a time you were most depressed in your life. Something must have changed in you that made you have hope again and told you to stand back up that this was not going to bring you down. When you were depressed...you don't think....OH tomorrow's gonna be the best day, and be all happy go lucky all of a sudden. Something must happen to change you. An event, a person's words, SOMETHING. For some people, if that change doesn't happen, or it's harder for them, all you do is wallow in your own sadness and kind of dig your own hole deeper and deeper.
Suicide is one of those things that in my opinion needs to be handled on a case by case standard. You can't get everyone out of depression the same way nor can you discourage people from killing themselves the same way. To simply give them a pat on the back and say..."oh tomorrow will be a better day" is not helping them....it's only making it worse. Sure that's what the big summary is...but how can "tomorrow be a better day" if today's problems aren't solved?
i think that was my two cents and more.
