    Re: Japanese horror movies

    JAPANESE! The Ring wasmuch scarier in the original Japanese version. Asian cinema is the best. My opinion is a bit biased, though. ^^;

    yes, the story in Asian films is usually more in depth...

    but isn't it alright to say that American films are better at camera angles and make-up? ... i mean, our movies are BAISED on such things, so i think it's safe to say that Americans have the one-up on those types of things!

    Re: Japanese horror movies

    .. don't you mean "BIASED" or "BASED", darling? ^_^;;

    ... America films aren't here for the storyline... they merely say how the person died... ghosts exist because of a trauma. They cannot think anything beyond that unless if they are able to understand you completely (which is pretty hard for humans and ghosts to do) ...

    Monsters exist for horrifying reasons... we're not too sure... And most times, we don't want to know...

    Killers exist because of what happened in their past. A trauma triggered it all...

    American movies are starting to put more depth into their stories in their horror movies... however, they'll always keep it as it is. Real: Terror.

    They don't have too much understanding in such things, and henceforth, Japanese are better in such storylines...

    However, American horror movies aim mainly on fear and panic... nothing more... no reasoning, nothing... if there was a reason, it'd be less scary... XD

    <_< But yeah, American horror movies are better if considering great camera angles and timing when it comes to "shock"...
