japanese movies (dubbed of course)

as we know there are lots of english versions of japanese movies which do you think are better an why? especially hooror movies i saw the japanese version of the grudge and it was soooo much better thn the english version.......the same as thi ring

Yep, I preffer subbed over dubbed. My favorite Japanese movie, would have to be Suicide Circle, or 'Club'. and... umm, I don't of any that are in English O_o or maybe... umm, I can't think..

Yeah, Suicide Circle is nuts! But I also gotta say Ichii the Killer hit me the hardest upon first viewing. ugh. Oh i prefer subs btw

I saw the origannal Grouch 2 yesterday at asian screen, japanese horror movies are the best, english sucks (i'm not jap.)

u r soooooo rite it was scary......and when i saw it (the japanese grudge) i was @ a sleepover and i couldn't go to sleep......and when i did go to sleep i dreamt of tht creepy chick from the movie....... ahhhhhhhhh now i picture her everytime i hear the word grudge ::shudders::

the grudge was originally japanese wow, i'll have to check it out. i must also see the whole ring original, everytime i record it it is recorded over.

down here in my country is very hard to fin those movies, there is an anime club but they dont get any o f that stuff

When you say "dubbed of course" I hope you are joking. I'm not really a subbing fangirl, but I have to say that if you're going to watch a foreign movie you should watch it in it's native language. Plus, the dubs are usually very inaccurate with the actual storyline, just try watching something dubbed with the subs on the bottom and you will realize how much of the story you are being screwed out of because you are too lazy to read.
Also the dubbed voices are usually terrible especially in live action movies where it's impossible to line up the audio and the visual, so it looks like it's out of sync and you spend the whole movie looking at their mouths and screaming out of frustration because it looks so damn odd and annoying.

With that said I like Battle Royale, Suicide Club, Ju-on (the grudge), Returner, Azumi, Versus, and I also own Battle Royale 2 but it sucks.
