first off you need to have frames frames are images that are put together to make movemoent or such like if you wanted his hand to move you need to show his hand moving in each frame then put it in image ready and put frames together

quick tut on how to animate text, also teaches you how to tween and stuff like that, once you get the hang of the this basic text animation tut then you will understand how to animate things more clearly
